About Me

Hi there! I'm Carrie Hauser and I've been sewing for over a decade! While I'd never touched a sewing machine until my high school days, I fell in love with the art of crafting fabric into beautiful shapes and designs in my very first sewing class. In no short order, I left my high school sewing studio and hopped over to The University of North Carolina at Greensboro where I earned my degree in Consumer, Apparel, and Retail Studies.

While clothing was my original muse, I picked up quilting only a few years after leaving college and quickly realized that quilting is where my heart belonged. I got my start with longarming on APQS Millies and now I have two of my very own APQS Luceys, each equipped with a Quilt Path computerized quilting system. I've won multiple ribbons at local and national quilt shows, including Best of Show, Best Longarm Quilting, and Judge's Choice, not just for my own personal quilts but for customer work as well. I've been published in Seamwork magazine, had my quilting work featured on the local news, and quilted for numerous published patterns.

I specialize in computerized edge-to-edge quilting, but I'm always interested in trying something new or different. Let's make beautiful quilts together!
